330ml bottle. Pours orange. Bourbon, wood, caramel, perfumed lemon, pineapple, strong caramel, boozy, orange. Full bodied. Remarkably smooth for the strength, but it's still a silly strength.

Bottle split at L42, thanks to Kenny, 26/09/17. Golden orange with a well presented off white covering. Nose is orange peel, vanilla, bourbon tinged oak, light spice, spruce, mixed tropicana. Taste comprises grapefruit, boozey notes, pine, candied orange peel, caramel, singed pineapple, malty tang. Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming boost with modest hop bitterness presenting itself in the close. Adequate sipper but barrelling detracts from the base beer.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Light haze on this gold beer, good cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Smooth light malts, semi sweet. Nice light vanilla. Good spicy dried fruits, mellow bourbon. Tangy citrus peel. More hop spice. Bourbon soaked fruits before the light dry finish, tingling spicy linger. Could be hoppier, but what's not to like?
