Yes it’s clean and crisp, but man it lacks any character at all. Light cereals and the slightest of hops. Pretty basic barebones..... I would classify it as a golden ale.... Not bad, not great. Lawnmower beer.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, loads of corn and minerals. In mouth, bland corn with grassy hops, so-so. On tap at Ottawa winter brewfest 2019.

Had this one yesterday at a restaurant in Hearst, Ontario on my Northern tour and was quite good with the food, and my first experience. Today, visited the brewery. Pours a clean golden colour with a white cap, good retention and beautiful full lacing. Cereal grain aromas with hints of caramel and other sweetness. Almost like chocolate as well, but no dark malts in here. The taste is slightly sweet with the cereal grains and very light hops to balance things. Crisp, refreshing... and again, great with food. Does what it was meant to do. Kind of like an old school Pale Ale when hops were not big in these, so more like a blonde ale.
