Glou Blend 2 was fermented and aged in a single foeder. It was then refermented in wine barrels on second-use New York Muscat grape skins - the same used for Glou Blend 1, from Blomidon Estate Winery. Blend 2 offers another expression of this complex and aromatic farmhouse beer.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor
Cloudy, dirty orange. Mildly fruity, but also very yeasty, especially in the flavour, dough; mild acidity and fruit.
Not impressive.

Pnkish with a slight haze. This has a really nice vinous aroma, with a bit of brett and a fair amount of wood. Light body, but refreshing tartness. Some yeastiness.Really nice balance - delicious, refined beer.

375mL bottle, pours a murky dark orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out musty grape skins, moderate barnyard funk, and oak. Flavour is along the same lines, with musty grape skins, light barnyard funk, a touch of glue, and some oak. Finishes vinous and musty. Good stuff.

A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, beautiful lactic notes with light acidity, light Brett, light grapeskins, musty notes, very nice and complex. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light acidity, light Brett, light lactic notes, ground cherries, very nice and balanced. On tap at Lupulus.
