A session ender with this beer. No real expectations, another inescapable IPA, but from New Mexico which is not a bad thing. 12 oz can from Total Wine in Santa Fe, opened now and going into a snifter. I see a semi-transparent yellow-gold body and a surviving skim of silvery white foam. The smell is pine cones with some sweetness lurking in the background. Oh, the taste is not newly correct, this is hoppy with grapefruit, cereal and malt. A little sweet, considerably more bitter and fairly dry. I’m on this side of the line.

From Total Wine in Albuquerque. Amber with a frothy, white head. Aroma is floral to fruity with pine undertones. Taste is bitter the whole way through with a dollop of resin at the end. Lingering peach. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Okay.

On tap at Steel Bender. Aromas of oranges and a little resin. Flavor is pretty heavy on resin with some tropical flavors.
