Brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of roasted grains, dark chocolate. Maybe faint mint but I could be imagining it. Taste is bitter, with minerals, grains and ash. The only real hint of mint is afterwards, lingering on the tongue. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Drinkable.
