Branden på Orten - är ett mjöd gjort av enorma mängder honung samt lite lokala äpplen. Honungen från ortens bin blandades färsk, medan resten brändes, vilket ger en mörkare smakbild samtidigt som den lokala aromen kvarstår. Prova till ost, dessert eller som en avec. Mjödet tillägnas minnet av ortens symboliska klockstapel, som tyvärr brann ner natten till den 30 juni 2016,ungefär samtidigt som det här mjödet av bränd honung nått sin fulla mognad.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 4 Oct 2019) Dark amber colour with no head. Malty, sweet nsoe with honey, burnt sugar and molasses. Malty, sweet taste with notes of dried fruit, burnt sugar, raisins and honey. Full body, sweet. A bit sticky, but really tasty and warming. Very nice.

Bottle 750ml. @ MBWF 2017 [ Malmö- Öl & Whiskyfestival 2017 ], Malmömässan, Mässgatan 6, 215 32 Malmö, Sweden. [ As Mjödhamnen Branden på Orten ].Clear medium amber orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy honey, caramelized honey, fruity honey, caramel, wood notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, honey, caramelized honey, fruity honey, nectar, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20170311] 8-3-8-4-17

Bottle. Pours an amber color with no head. Has a fruity spicy honey toffee aroma. Sweetish spicy burnt honey and apple flavor. Has a sweetish spicy honey apple and toffee finish.

Appearance: Amber colour with no head.

Note based rating. Hope to improve on it in the future:Bottle @ Sthlm Beer 2016. Clear pale caramel pour with very clear sticky legs. Poltorak honey levels. Light bochet caramel, vanilla and hay.
