A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet vanilla chocolate malt with coffee notes, grassy hops, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a sweet yet bitter chocolate with coffee grind, molasses, toffee, grassy hops, loads of alcohol, very nice and complex. On tap at Carlsbad location.

Draught @ Pizza Port Carlsbad, Carlsbad, CA
Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, licorice, cocoa, vanilla, toffee and hints of spices. Taste is smooth, heavy and sweetish with some roastiness, cocoa and vanilla. Finish is sweet, malty and syrupy with some cocoa, vanilla and roastiness. Okay.

Draught @ Pizza Port, Carlsbad. Aroma is a bit mild with licorice and mocha. Flavour has licorice, soy sauce, some alcohol and molasses. Too salty.
