This imperial breakfast stout, brewed with our Chicago pals at Mikerphone, was infused with mountains of sweet maple syrup, brown sugar and a rich blend of Brazilian and Colombian coffee

A balanced and layered malt bill combines pale and chocolate malt, wheat and rye with Carafa® Special (Type 3) to enhance the bold coffee flavours, while oat additions help round out the luscious, creamy mouthfeel.

From tap at Wee Vault, Edinburgh. Thick maple with roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, espresso. Sweet flavour with a moderate bitterness. Lots of roast to counter the sweetness, some booze. Very good.

On tap at MBCC 2025 (Yellow session), pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out maple, lactose, and latte-like notes — smells pretty gimmicky. Flavour is full of lactose, coffee, and dark sugars. Lots of coffee and lactose. Not egregiously sweet but it works pretty well.

On tap at MBCC 2025, yellow session. Pours dark bread with a beige head. Salted burnt caramel, bready crusts on the nose. Flavour has burnt caramel, salted toffee, caramelized brown sugar. Very nice.

Nose is chocolate, maple syrup, coffee, brown sugar melt, light boozey nostril tickle.
Taste comprises coffee, chocolate pot, maple syrup, toasted brown sugars, booze tunes, caramel.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Fun patry.
