A golden sour beer aged in oak barrels with citrusy hops.
In honour of our robots, we commissioned this Berliner Weisse inspired beer and dry-hopped it with three of our favorite citrusy hops. We trust you will enjoy the lemony, grapefruity, orangey notes, while our metal friends enjoy a refreshing de-greasing!

Cloudy, pale, thin head, fruity, tart, lemony, not super balanced, just tart without as much hop as I might like.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright citrus hops, oak, and earthy wild yeast. Flavour is quite citrusy, with lots of oak, and a touch of wild yeast. Citrusy and oaky. Solid.

(On tap @ Birreria Volo, Toronto, Oct 1/18) Pours lightly hazed medium gold with a small white head. Notes dominated by bright fruity hops, bringing a punch of tangerine, grapefruit, red berries, somewhat floral tropical fruit (especially on the nose), with a core of high tart to solidly sour lactic acid, hint of cider vinegar, soft malt, some rounded oak, slight vanilla-ish quality, a bit mineral, light hay. High tart fruity finish and aftertaste. Light to medium bodied, soft fizzy carb. Super, really nice hopping here and the sourness reinforces rather than overwhelming it. I like their dry-hopped stuff.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light Epsom salts, light Brett, light citrus pulp, very nice and complex. In mouth, a nice tart mix of lemon pulp, light tropical fruits, light Brett, faint buttery character, very nice and complex. On tap at brewery.
