After having their Alestake and Evergreen IPA yesterday which had way too much diacetyl, hoping for a closer IPA. And it seems. But maybe not by much. I can already feel the butterscotch coming through the hoppy nose, but not as much as the other. Clean amber, frothy warm off-white cap, good stay and some foamy lacing. Tasting the caramel-butterscotch at first, but at least some hops come to save this a bit in the finish. So, decent lingering grassy notes. A nice dryness builds up as well. Much better than the Alestake.

A golden ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with light resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, pleasant. On tap at brewery.
