Black as Satans heart. We used 5 English malts, 2 hop varieties to brew this devilishly moreish venomous reptile of a beer. If you are of a weak disposition or not too fond of snakes don’t get close enough to let this bad boy bite you.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - thanks a lot!]. Jet black colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, dark malty and herbal-grassy, hoppy aroma. Taste is bitter, roasty dark malty and herbal-grassy hoppy, notes of liquorice, salted liquorice, hints of cold coffee, a touch of peppermint. Biting, refreshing, with a tendency towards Black IPA.
