Bottle from a supermarket in Nice. Produced for SARL Demi de Melee. Pours hazy pale gold with a small and short lasting white head. Aroma is of dominant peach, light hop and malt, and a little grassy. Quite heavy sweetness, light bitterness and touch of sour. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Finish is slightly dry, peachy with some increasing bitterness. Although bought in late 2015, was still within it’s BB date. Wasn’t expecting great things from it but it wasn’t bad,

On draught at Beer O’Clock, Annecy. Mid-gold with filmy head on top. Apricot brandy scent with peach and alcohol hitting your nose. Taste is very sweet but there is enough bitter to hold it back and ensure a wonderful balance. More apricot brandy in the finish. Intense and well worth seeking out.
