Can from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Cloudy orange juice, nice sparkle, no head or lacing. Aroma is citrus, vague "other" fruit (stone?). Taste follows aroma--some definable orange--along with malt backbone. Frothy texture, avg. carbonation, finish as taste. This couldn't live up to the expectations--DDH Nelson!!?? YES!--and it didn't. Was it going to be grapey-Nelson or herby-Nelson? Citrusy-Nelson? Hmmm. Not sure whether to give props for forging a different path or it's a failed opportunity. I think the latter.

16 oz. can. Flavor leans on citrusy with bold fruity qualities with notes of gooseberry. Soft malt backbone layered with a lot of fruit. White grape is here but overall more citrus than anything. Overall, interesting because if I tasted it blind, I would’ve thought I was drinking and all Citra IPA
