Bottle from Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 2015. Drank at home. Hazy amber pour with a white head (soon goes). Aromas of marmalade, sweet spice, barley sugar, tangerine and some light smoke action. Flavours of honey, vanilla, a little smoke, sweet spice. Spicy finish. Nice.

Bottle shared at the chriso and Ruth pre-Christmas / post-Pigs Ear holiday tasting of 2015 - London. Cheers! Pours hazy yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose is a mix of doughy wheat bread and dry smoke, with undertones of honeyed ham. Medium sweet flavor with sugary white bread, yeast, straw and smokey ham. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with more wheat, yeast, dough, light apple. Tasty enough. The smokiness keeps it interesting.
