Bottled. Hazy orange colour with a small white head, which disappears quite quickly. Aroma is yeast, some smoked wood, mild spiciness. Flavour is smoked wet wood, ripe fruits, some alcohol, grains, herbs and mild fruitiness with some slight wood and quite dry. Quite messy as for the flavour, but the aroma worked a bit better.

Bottle from Camden Farm Stores, Brecon at 6.5%. Hazy gold with some lumpy sediment in suspension and a thin white head. Aggressively fizzy. Doughy white bread, light foam banana, marmalade, white pepper, ginger powder. Vodka and more ginger powder - it's quite spicy. A wisp of smoke in the lightly dry finish. Overall it's just ok - I'd have liked the smokiness to have come through a bit more.

Hazy medium golden colour, small frothy white head, fairly lasting, good lacing. Light sourish nose, smoked meat aroma develops slowly, bready malts, bit dough. Taste light sweet and slightly bitter, light smoked meat, herbal notes. Retronasal light smoky sensation, mild sweetbitter aftertaste with smoky and spicy notes, bit ashy and husky. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation, very peculiar and interesting brew.

"Left Bank Incognito Smoked Saison Gyle #79". Hazy orange color, mostly vanishing head. Yeasty, smoked aroma. Medium-bodied. Spicey, fruity (riped), smokeyness, grains and alcohol. Unbalanced. Mix of Saison yeast, heavy alcohol and smoke is not the most drinkable.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-Christmas Tasting. It pours hazy dirty gold with a thick white head. The nose is rich, smoked, bitter - sweet, grainy, sweet orange muffin and candied stuff. The taste is bitter - sweet, toasty, earthy, rich smoked, bready malts, mild acidity and fruit cake. Medium body and fine carbonation. Unusual flavour profile, but not bad.
