An American Pale Ale brewed with huge amounts of flaked wheat on top of a base of pilsner malt. We used Citra in the whirlpool and 100% Nectaron for the dry hop. Light and refreshing with flavors of cream of wheat, followed by white peach, passionfruit, lychee, grapefruit and lemon zest from the Nectaron. Artwork by Kim Zimmerman.

Canned 3/20, drunk 5/26/25. From Harvest Wine & Spirits Elmwood.
Moderately-to-heavily hazy, pale brass-bronze. Small, white head, good retention.
Soft, fruity yeast with citrus and a touch of pine. Wheat-like nuttiness and biscuit with citrus juice lingering.
Assertive but not overdone citrusy bitterness with a touch of pine. Soft and malty texture, very dry, clean, drinkable and with balanced flavor. After two months no doubt the big juiciness has dried up somewhat but this is still very balanced and drinkable.

Can (4/18/24) pour from Manchester Wine and Liquors. Cloudy yellow with light sparkle, massive white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong melon, candied citrus, lychee, pink grapefruit, passionfruit, mild wheat backdrop. Taste is strong grapefruit, candied citrus, passionfruit and wheat. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with some yeasty dryness and light bitterness. Super complex and flavorful for an APA! Amazing for ABV. Well done!!

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you Tom! Aroma has grapefruit and lychee fruit. Flavor pops with lychee, passionfruit, and shows a mild grapefruit peel bitterness. Absolutely amazing for the lower ABV!!
