This slightly sweet, malt-forward ale evenly balances caramel and roasted malt flavors.

Can at Mechanics Hall, Worcester, 3/29/26.
Smells just fine. Lots of C malts. Fruity, red berry and rich toffee. Bit of toast and earth. Clean and with a bit of herbal hop character to lighten the mood.
Chocolatey, wow. Maybe a bit carried away w the C malts but it's not as thin as their beers often are, which is surprising. Gets a bit too toasty and earthy. Definitely needs more base malt. But it's drinkable.

Draft during trivia. Dark ruby red brown. Nose is malt and some dark fruits. Tastes earthy, dark bread, fruits and dates. Medium bodied.

16 oz can shared by tfontana. Thank you Tom! Very simple flavor profile. Mils earth, toasted grain, lager yeast like finish. This is just simple. Pretty easy for the average man to savor.

Can pour from Andover Classic Wines. Cloudy amber-red with nice sparkle, head quickly fading to ring and trace lacing. Aroma is malt, and a little bit of an earthy compost. Taste is caramel malt, roast. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation, crisp finish. Something a bit off-putting in the aroma. Meh.
