Brewery draught, 2/8/25.
Clear, dark. Small, grey-beige head.
Some sweet maple and base malt in the nose with a bit of roast, but nothing overbearing. Mild and fruity.
In the mouth it continues its mild and fruity character, adding a sweet maple element, with moderate roast on the somewhat watery finish. Just a bit thinner than I'd prefer, probably loosened up by the use of the maple cream.

32 oz. Growler from the source. Thank you tfontana! Aroma is mild roasted malt with chocolate hints. The porter has all the right flavors. Roast, ash, and chocolate. Decent body but can’t find maple.

Growler pour on tap from the brewery. Opaque black with nice head and nice lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, hints of coffee and toffee. Taste follows aroma. Smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with mild lingering roasted bitterness. A quality porter but, if maple is the draw here, it's nowhere to be found so demerits for that.

Sample from the Granite State Brewers Festival 7/25/15 Rich chocolate with a bit too much fruity going on with some hints of oxidation. Not horrible but the recipe or process could use a little tweaking.
