Can (11/27/23) pour from The Beer Store, Salem. Opaque dark brown with nice sparkle, fizzy light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet malts, maple, chocolate, vanilla, mild bourbon over hints of coconut and coffee. Taste is sweet bourbon, malts, chocolate, vanilla, later maple. Smooth, creamy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with light bitterness. Bourbon seems to add to the sweetness rather than cut it and more coffee bitterness would have been welcome. I like sweet stouts but this could use better balance.

16 oz. can. Aroma is maple, roast in mild coffee. Flavor is mostly coffee and mild maple with undercurrents of chocolate. This rides the line of almost being cloying. Almost. Body is a bit thin for the gravity. I found zero coconut and aroma or flavor. Seems like a bit of a let down here.
