500ml bottle [2025 vintage]. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, small, creamy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, brown head. Intense and condensed, slightly BA supported and maple syrup fortified, chocolately and roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, cocoa, chocolate, maple syrup, pancake, vanilla, some caramel, whiffs of toasted coconut. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately and roasty, dark malty, caramel malty and minimally alcoholic, notes of toffee, coffee, dark caramel, some chocolate, treacle, vanilla, maple syrup, some BA support reinforces the caramel, vanilla and alcoholic flavours; slight retirement of the coffee in the finish, a tad more sweetness and warming alcohol in return, well hidden alcohol overall.
Slightly viscous texture, smooth, soft and cloying palate, medium to fine, slightly scattered, mildly prickly carbonation.
Rich and intense, lots of coffee - very good.

On tap at Biererei Bar & Vintage Cellar, Saturday 24th January 2026 in the company of Nick, Anna, Charlie, Sarah, Ryan and Honey. Pours pitch black with a head that rapidly departed. Super thick mouthfeel, sticky and big barrel aged notes. Honey and treacle, there's a little bitterness, chocolate and bourbon combine. Very good. Score 8.0

On tap. Pours almost black with short tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla, and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional chocolate nougat. Rich. Excellent.

Bottled 500ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Pitch oily black coloured, minimal brown head, dark chocolate, coconut and light maple in the nose. Dark chocolate, strong maple, alcohol, light coconut and bourbon touch in the finish. Bit sweet and light warming.

Bottle from Brew Export. Smoky, nutty aromas underpinned with a spot of dark chocolate, bourbon, raisin, cocoa. Taste is chocolate nut, bourbon, coffee, cocoa, light smoke, treacle toffee. Rich boozy mouthfeel. Sweet throat warming finish. Yum 😋!

Bottle shared at Free Beer tasting thanks to sjogro. Black with barely any head. Vanilla, coffee, maple, cinnamon, boost, chocolate, sugar, rye whisky. Very sweet, medium bitter. Almost full bodied, quite some boost. Boozy but lovely.

Black with a brown head - Dark malt aroma with wood barrel - Dark malt body with a good wood barrel flavour and some chocolate and coffee flavours as well - The dark malt with coffee and chocolate flavours goes into the finish - This was real good
