OK, so as a half blooded dago, I was expecting something more. This certainly does not meet the flavor of an Italian dessert made of savoiardi dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of egg yolks, sugar, and mascarpone, and flavored with cocoa powder. Yes, it pours big black and oily. Smells sweet and boozy, like impy stout but with a slight coffee note. Boozy and sweet on the uptake, but to say this tastes anything like real tiramisu is fake news. Its simply a big cloying mess of a pastry stout. Warmth down the throat. Yes, one beefy sweet cloying clash of untidiness.
