This new beer is a lighter version of our Oude Questche Tilquin à l'ancienne. Same recipe as the Oude Questche Tilquin à l'ancienne with 250 gr fresh plums per liter, but lighter in alcohol, due to the use of a blend of 50% of Meerts and 50% of 1 and 2 years old lambics.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Ambrata/arancia, torbida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso nette note di susine, leggero citrico e sottobosco. In bocca è acida decisa, fruttata, secca. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione media. Non male nella sua semplicità.

Poured from the tap (menu lists it at 5.3%). Cloudy dull pinkish orange with minimal white head. Medium tart plum, nice balance.

Tap at Luppolo Station in Rome. Peach skin hazy color with a medium white foam. Nose: graveyard flowers ;) strawberries and prunes. Some citrus. Mouth: very fruity a bit sweet jam with a sour perfect finish.

Tap @ In de Wildeman. Pinkish color. Lemony, bretty aroma with plums. Dry yet fruity flavor. Pleasant lemony sourness. Hints of honey. Soft bretty notes. Excellent balance.

On tap at Moeder Lambic, Brussels. Smoothie pinkish orange, small head. Pungent yeasty funky, balanced with raspberry, although lightly. Quite sour, puckering, juicy and refreshing. Funky note underneath. Pleasant though one sided. Light to a medium body, moderate carbonation.

Sample draught @ SWAFFF! 2019 Brussels Craft Beer Festival (1st day) shared with BE RB crew and other gentle people there. F: thin, almost white, quick gone. C: red with yellow touch, hazy. A: woody, bretty, fruity, basement, bit sour cherries. T: light malty base, sour berries, brett, funky, very refreshing, easy drinkable, medium carbonation, fully enjoyed.

0,25l from tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Reddish murky color, small white head. Smells very ciderish, green apples, hints of fruits. Nice smell. Medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of candy, green apples, stone fruits, bit citric, grassy, funky. Finishes rather dry and medium sour with notes of green apples, cider and funky notes. Very nice one, rather on the young side, very subtle fruits.
