Cheap can from total wine. Looking forward to this as a chaser, after destroying my palate with a terribly on style IPA, whew. Anyway this can pours like any macro lager, clear pale. Nose is unexpectedly mild and sweet. First big swig is a mild american style pale lager. Some fresh cut hay in the background. Yes, easy going and refreshing. Not bad. Has no ill effects that I can locate in the middle. Just seems like a friendly easy to like pale lager that would appeal to any american pale lager gulper. I'm liking this, especially after ruining my taste buds with a manly IPA. It finishers without any processed character, and I'm left wishing I had another can. Mind you, I like pale lagers and this is a pretty good one. Most craft brewers have trouble with making a decent pale lager but this one is not bad.

I was hoping for a little more here. The initial impression was a graininess that made me think oh its a pre-proh but the more I got into it, the more it just seemed like a simple possibly corn-laden lager. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but the graininess and low hopping left me empty. There's so many good craft lagers out there these days, its hard for me to think of this as anything more than a variant of PBR, and that's not what I want out of a craft lager.

16 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a crystal clear gold color with an eggshell colored head and good retention. Decent lacing. Standard pale malt aroma. Straightforward, sweet pale malt flavor to match the nose, with a bready finish. Very smooth and clean, with a soft, yet crisp mouthfeel. Medium-light body and low bitterness. A very good lager.
