Keg at Baxter’s Court, JDW - Hackney. Pours mostly clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a lasting, fluffy whipped creamy topping. The aroma holds leafy and floral hops, some aged citrus peel, crusty pale bread. Light sweet flavour with assertive grassy bitterness, cheap white bread, stale citrus peel, pale grains, husk. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more grassy and floral hops, simple dried pale bread, more husky grains, a little meringue, slight astringency. Not the best.

Pours a clear amber colour with an orange tinge and a small white head. Caramelised orange and sweet malty aroma with a hint of honey. Sweet orange marmalade, sweet malt and honey flavours, syrupy in the mouth but with a resinous bitterness in the finish. Nice but not sure I’d drink too much of it in a session.

Gravity dispense at Ealing BF, 06/07/16. Hazed orange golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is earthy, straw, malty, bitter orange. Taste comprises pale malt, toasted bread, bitter orange, lemon rind, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a gentle juicy hop scrub up at the end. Drinkable but pretty basic for style - maybe this one works better on keg?

On tap at The Porterhouse London. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Sherbet hop aroma. OK in mouth. More Sherbet hop on the finish. A bit like suckling on a Sherbet fountain. Decent though.
