Pours hazy yellow with a foamy white head. Immediate aroma of lactose, some vegetal notes. Taste has enormous key lime notes, some overripe fruit, more lactose. Palate finishes with saltiness, some lactose sour elements, and a bit more key lime. Good.

From a cheap can the pour is a hazy almost somewhat milky pale. Nose is a somewhat off putting tart sour thing, not really attractive but typical of many open vat wild fermented beers. Pleasing tart friendly taste greets the palate, good level of carbonation too. Along with the tart nature, the co2 creates an almost cutting feel on the tongue. Interesting. Finish is good but there are hints of a processed feel there lurking in the background. Quite refreshing and unique and not bad overall.

Draft pour at Spring House Tavern, Strasburg. Poured a muted yellowish color. Aroma was key lime immediately, kumquat and a dash of cucumber. Flavor was big kumquat, finish had cucumber juice. Pleasant.

Draught @ Merrion Square bar, Manhattan (12/9/22). Faintly cloudy golden with a foamy white head, faint cucumber aroma, medium carbonation, medium sour cucumber-mint flavor, thin body, medium finish with faint cucumber aftertaste. Interesting brew.
