Sour ale from this young Norwegian craft brewery, tap at Wildeman in Amsterdam, thanks to Hans Dusselier for sharing. Lacing, snow white, medium thick head over a hazy yellowish peach blonde beer. Aroma of stewing rhubarb, buttermilk, gooseberry, unsugared yoghurt, withering lettuce, spoiled milk, cucumber, lime juice. Sour onset, sorrel, gooseberries and cucumber, with only a light sweetishness hidden within (pear), spritzy carb, lactic and yoghurty tartness throughout with a sharper lemony edge, buttery effect as well (diacetyl?), bready base, lime-like aspects in the finish with lingering rhubarb-tinged sourness, dryish. Bit 'simple' modern sour, your typical American style golden sour, pleasant enough but lacking a bit in depth to be a truly great sour ale.
