Can (5/5/23) pour from Candia First Stop Country Store. It's opaque black with finger-width fizzy light brown head. Aroma is strong earthy roasted malt and mild molasses. Taste follows aroma along with mild dark fruit, fig. Mouthfeel is right for the style with dry, mildly bitter finish, light alcohol warmth. Not super complex but decent strength.

16 oz. can. Nose has a mild level of roasted malt, roasted grain. Taste comprises chocoalte, molasses, light spice, raisins.. The body lean’s on thin but this doesn’t hurt the flavor at all. Soft carbonation, semi drying texture with roasted malt on the finish. Good. Not amazing.
