On tap at the source. Comes to the table an inky black color with a thin tan head that slowly recedes. Aromas of earthy roast with bits of chocolate and a touch of maple under tone. Bitter roast is a little strong, but it's a nice beer

4 oz. draft. Aroma shows soft oats and roasted grains. Decent roasted malt backbone with oatmeal showing. Good mouthfeel. Maybe the lightest hint of maple in the finish. I appreciate the fact. Maple is not over done.
