An exercise in experimentation, another step in a blossoming partership, A Sense of it All. For our second collaboration with our Portland friends from Belleflower, we brought in a fairly new to us ingredient in the form of Chinook hop salvo extract. To double the fun we experimented with a new process step, adding the extract directly to the fermentation vessel to minimize aroma loss and maximize dank, resinous hop character. The dry hop features Motueka and Riwaka hops for citrusy aromas of grapefruit and kumquat. Experience the multiplicity of flavor with us.

Can (3/30/23) pour from The Beer Store, Salem. It's an opaque light brown-dark yellow with light sparkle, numerous white floaties, finger-width white creamy head with excellent retention and nice rings of lacing. Aroma is strong melon, lemon and florals. Taste follows aroma with the addition of honey malts. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick, smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good strength of aroma and flavor with a less-traveled profile. Nice.

16 oz. can. Dated: 3/30/23. Aroma shows me mild floral and honey like malts. The flavor shows a mild pine like nuances. No resin. Just soft pine needles. Lighter side of medium body. Texture is dry with light lingering herb finish. Pretty interesting overall.
