Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: pours dark brown close to black color with a three finger eggshell white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: fairly strong earthy/grassy/citrusy toned hops, big roasty coffee tones, some dark chocolate, bitter coffee tones further down in there.
Flavor: big hoppy and earthy roasty to bitter qualities up front, subtle earthy & lightly dusted coffee bitter aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper, not so smooth along my tongue, so I will say astringent, finishes fairly dry, roasty and earthy
Overall: kinda a different sort of stout than many will think as I believe this came off more as a black IPA. I would still come back to.

16 oz can. Aroma has mild citrus with mellow pine. The elevated hop level gives the stout more of a black IPA character. Mild roast with pine and herbal hops. Pretty well balanced.
