Can pour from The Beer Store. It's an opaque black with light sparkle, finger-width fizzy, ephemeral light brown head and no lacing. Aroma is earthy roasted malt, dusty leather. Taste is roasted malt/coffee along with hint of anise. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, watery texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with lingering roasted bitterness. Overall, taste is decent but nothing stands out.

16 oz. Draft. Aroma and flavor are a match. Mild coffee, soft chocolate, mild smoky finish. Nice finish.
