Our 49 Squadron Best Bitter is a pale amber bitter. It is a bittersweet well balanced tasting beer of malt, fruit and citrus hop flavours.

500ml bottle; BB 19th Aug 2019. Obtained from the International Bomber Command Memorial building just outside Lincoln. Poured into a tall pint glass from the 8 Sail Brewery (also from Lincolnshire) at home on 15th April 2019. Clear and clean copper body, off-white blanket of foam on top. Malty front to the nose and taste with a caramel leaning in both. Good crisp bitterness within the flavour and mouthfeel. Easy drinking and very pleasant all round. Makes a change to find a beer that hasn't been 'messed around with' these days too!
