Cask @ Shrewsbury Real Ale Festival 2023. Pours a dark ruby, off-white, nay, beige head. Light caramel malt aroma, continues to taste, very mild malt, gentle roast.. expected a little more malt layers.

Shared third of a pint at the 31st Shrewsbury Beer Festival in St Mary's Church on 28th September 2023. Deep red body, beige topping. Malty little number with a fruity edge, leaning towards caramel sweet.

Clear dark red brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, toffee, butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, butterscotch, toffee, dark malt, sweet malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171011]

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Great Welsh Beer & Cider Festival, Cardiff 21/9/2017. Dark brown, with a thin, off-white, head. A sweetish beer, with some dark fruit, toasty malts and brown sugar, before a gentle finish. Ok.
