Orange lett lett tåkete med flyktig hvitt skum. Lukter sure bær og fyrstikker. Syr. Bæreddik, svovel og blodappelsin. Middels lang.

Can (3/3/21) pour from The Beer Store, Nashua. Appearance is lightly hazy, honey amber with trace sparkle, finger-width off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong oak and tart fruit bordering on vinegar. Taste is strong tart fruit and oak but with some sweet fruit offset. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not sour and there is some sweet offset but still more tart than I’d like.

12 oz. can shared by tfontana, thanks Tom. Aroma is funky berry, oak, and vinegar. Yeah, been a few years since I’ve had Cascade. I now remember why. Not a huge sour oak and vinegar in my sour ales. Yes, it is a classic rendition.

Can. Crimson-amber beer with a low cream head. Tart and citrus aroma with berry. Sour and light acetic flavor with oak, lemon, and berry. Medium bodied. Sour and light acetic notes linger with light oak, lemon, and berry.

12 oz. can, pours a clear dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is intensely floral upfront, with subdued blueberries and loads of acidity. Flavour is all flowers and acidity, with intense earthy lemon verbana, lots of floral notes, and medium-high acidity. No depth or complexity -- dominated by the earthiness. What the hell is this crap, Cascade, especially for the prices you charge? Poor.

Another sour with a lot of fancy adjuncts and aging that still ultimately tastes like a sour, plain and simple. Not much oak is coming from the foeders, while the blueberries add a mild tartness. Verbena comes through in the fade. Not bad, just…a sour.
