Can from tfontana, thanks for the trade. Lightly hazy medium brown with a decent sized frothy off white head that slowly recedes. Caramel toffee and hints of chocolate with light earthy hops to counter. Distinctively English feel, pretty nice.

Can pour from Spruce Creek Provisions. It's a lightly hazy medium amber-light brown (iced tea) with light sparkle, 2-finger width beige foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is roasted malt and caramel with European hops. Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, takes me back to when these were more prevalent/I had them all the time. This is a good representative of the style.

16 oz. bottle traded by tfontana. Thanks Tom. The malt and yeast combo smells a little like wet dog. Flavor has smooth malt and mild toffee. Grain-like body, caramel and biscuit malt with easy, non-aggressive fruity hops. Pretty good for the style.
