Bottle. Pours clear near black, small tan head, good lacing. Aroma has a hint of peat, cocoa, molasses, earth, tobacco. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, light peaty smoke, earth, whiskey. Full body. Really nice. Exactly how scotch ba stouts should come out. Well crafted.

Bottle pour in share from WillRunForBeer--thanks, Brian. It's an opaque black with light viscosity, thin ring of beige head and no lacing. Aroma is strong barrel, bit of peat, roasted malt, milder scotch. Taste is strong malt, toffee, bit of oak and scotch. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, decent complexity and strength.

2019 label. Bottle shared by Willrunforbeer! Aroma is very peated and smoky. The body is decent with a charred character. Finish is smoky scotch and peated malt. A strange aftertaste but certainly has some nice characters.

Thanks Brian, aroma is peaty scotch, roasted malts. Taste follows notes of chocolate and coffee and grains. Abv is well hidden.

Dark brown pour with a tall, fine-grained tan head. Notes of cocoa, chocolate, a bit of honey, sweet whiskey, smoke. A pretty good scotch BA stout.
