Enjoyed from a nice AirBNB in Asheville, NC on a nice day. Appearance is slightly cloudy gold, taste is lightly crisp, doesn’t really taste like a 9% ABV brew. Overall decent

Can (5/27/21) pour from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. It's a lightly hazy gold with trace sparkle, finger-width white fluffy foam head with good retention and nice rings of lacing. Aroma is fairly subtle florals and pine. Taste is florals and pine intermingling with milder sweet fruit. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, mild alcohol warmth, average carbonation and dry, crisp finish as taste with moderate lingering bitterness. Overall, wouldn't go so far as to say this is tropical, though some fruit notes make it a little different than standard west coast IPA. But not different enough to be that interesting. Thin.

Very dry for a DIPA, offering up loads of resin and grapefruit and orange zest, with a cracker layer underneath and tons of pine in the finish. A bit simple for such a big beer, with a touch of funky graininess popping up in the fade. Eh.

4 oz. draft sample. Aroma is tame. Melon and caramel. The melon is a large presence in the flavor. Mild traces of citrus. The biggest positive is the alcohol is totally hidden.
