Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: amber color with some transparency and a one and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: jalapeno peppers up front with a light maltiness underneath
Flavor: mainly the jalapeno pepper spiciness - I'm trying to find the malts but don't really find them; finishes with the jalapenos
Texture: light to medium bodied, this is a sipper; not exactly a smooth one, but the spicy heat just seems there as if it's a bit settled and not necesarily eye watering or tongue numbing
Overall: not sure how fresh or how old it was but part of me wonder if this would be better labeled on Brewver as "spiced/herbal/vegetable/honey" then the substyle of "spiced" as I'm having difficulty seeing the "cream ale" aspect in this beer but I guess the brewer calls it a cream ale, so there's that.

Can from the source. Lightly hazy medium gold in color with a fizzy white head that slowly recedes. Bready crackery maltiness with bits of pepper skin. Light warming in the finish but fairly mild heat wise. Not bad with some pizza tonight.

4 ounce draft. Crystal clear yellow color. Jalapeño is mostly the only thing you can taste. No spicy burn. Texture is smooth as a cream ale should be. It is what it was intended.
