Brewed with the same fluffy malted oats as always, and hopped, as always, super aggressively with Cascade and Columbus, DDH Coconut Alien Church is dry hopped with the same huge dose of the choicest Citra, Mosaic, and Chinook from our US selections, then rested on a mountain of luscious coconut flakes, and hit with a secondary dry hop of bright and citrusy New Zealand Motueka!

Notes of tropical sunshine, heady vibes, and cocktails drank out of hollowed out pineapples

Can (3/9/21) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an opaque light brown-dark yellow with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, fluffy finger-plus width white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is moderately strong tropical fruit and lighter coconut; late creamsicle as it warms. Taste is strong pineapple, coconut, tropical fruit, orange. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste with light lingering bitterness and dry yeast. Overall, taste exceeds aroma but really good all around.

3/9/21 huge aroma of pineapple, oats, faint coconut. Taste is silky smooth, pineapple, light pith, creamy mouth feel. Could use more coconut but its really good.

16 oz. can. Born on 03/09/21. Aroma shows huge pineapple, soft oats very weak coconut. Flavor shows bold pineapple throughout. As it warms the coconut comes out a little more. Very tropical in character with juicy pineapple lasting in the finish. REAL good.
