DDH Death Tripper: Double Dry Hopped Extra IPA 6.66% One of our favorites from the early days of the BrewCafé, scaled up and given the ol' DDH treatment. Brewed with tons of flaked oats and wheat, and hopped very lightly in the kettle. Dry hopped aggressively with our best American Simcoe and Australian Galaxy, then secondarily dry hopped with Citra & Simcoe. Straight-forward, simple, and inevitable. Notes of peach jussssst on the precipice of perfect ripeness, mango gelato, a touch of cedar, and Stewart's Orange Cream soda.

Can (3/2/21) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an opaque dark yellow with trace sparkle at the edges of the glass, 2-finger white foamy head with good retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong mix of fruits including apricot, tangerine and peach. Taste is combination of sweet fruits (less distinct than in aroma), dank, and backbone of wheat and oats. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, average carbonation and dry finish including yeast and lingering mild bitterness. Overall, decent complexity of fruit flavors, lots of juice and an aroma and taste that are divergent in a good way. Maybe a tad thin for the style.

3/2/21 aroma is pine and juicy orange. Taste follows with hints of mango and balanced soft bitterness in finish. Really nice.

16 oz. can. Born on 03/02/21. Aroma is pine cone on top of oranges. Citrus is upfront with a mild underline of pine. Mango hints. Pine gives balance to the sweet fruit. Texture is moderately juicy with a light herb finish. Real good.
