A dark ale highlighting notes of caramel,
toffee and light chocolate malt flavors. After barrel aging, we rested it on roasted almonds to create a deeper, more nuanced flavor profile.

Pours dark mahogany into a snifter. Mocha head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Hot caramel and almond aromas. Soft with hot caramel and bourbon upfront turning to sweet almond and molasses in the warm, lasting finish.

500 ml bottle. Shared with Tom socially distance at 12 feet apart on my back porch. Flavor is rich and deep. Almond is shows throughout with toffee, chocolate, with some oak / wood in the finish. The wood and almond must complement each other.

Bottle pour shared by AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is cloudy brown with no discernible sparkle, thin ring of off-white head and no lacing. Aroma is strong caramel, oak and almond, all complementing each other nicely. Taste is rich, but not overpowering, toffee and chocolate over almond and mild wood. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, nice alcohol warmth and finish as taste. Overall, a real nice sipper with good strength and balance of aroma and flavor. Very nice.
