Can pour shared by AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is opaque black with purple sheen across the top with no sparkle, no head, nice viscosity and no lacing. Aroma is strong blueberry, maple, pancake and mild coffee all nicely balanced. Taste is strong blueberry followed by maple; latter half roasted malt and coffee bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish is mix of sweet blueberry and mild roasted bitterness. Overall, a rich dessert beer but nice balance among the flavors that share time taking center stage and none is overbearing. Split two ways is about right as pretty rich. Very well crafted.

16 oz. can, spilt 2 ways. Aroma is identical to a blueberry pancake. Truly. Blueberry, maple and a bready hint. Wow! The blueberry and coffee are here with a lot of lingering maple. They manage a bread hint to simulate pancakes and a bitterness that does try to balance it. Dessert in a glass. Very interesting.
