Whoopie pies and peanut butter go together like flannel and bean boots. When you already make a whoopie pie stout, why not add a peanut butter twist? When it's your wife's idea, you don't even question it! This beer is brewed with lactose, aged on cocoa, vanilla, and natural peanut butter flavoring to pay homage to the decadent treat that we all know and love.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: black in the glass with a one finger beige foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: peanut butter, chocolate baked tones, touch of vanilla and some sweet cream
Flavor: sweet all the way through with a light finish of the peanut butter and milk chocolate
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to medium, sessionable, good smoothness along the tongue
Overall: good creativity, I dig what they did and liked that this wasn't overly done.

4 ounce draft. Pitch black color. Aroma is soft peanut butter, light roast, barley. The flavor is about what I expected since I’ve had others in the series. Good peanut butter note. The body is just a touch lean for a stout. Still good.
