Our Double IPA you love just got a nostalgic facelift! Introducing Mac & Margie.

❤️❤️❤️

DDH recipe with pale malt, oats, and wheat, a whirlpool addition of Centennial, Amarillo, and Mosaic, and fermented with yeast native to Maine. It is then double dry hopped with Amarillo and Mosaic. Dense flavors of candied citrus peel and apricot sit atop stone fruit and tropical flavors.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: glossy orange to copper color with some haziness and a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrus peel, apricot, melon & pineapple; light clean cracker malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet juicy quality; finishes citrusy, pineapple-y and apricot-ish
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness but also some dryness, low carb
Overall: nicely done DIPA close to being a NEDIPA. I could bang again.

16oz can pours a pulpy orange, creamy white head. Nose is ok, malt, big vanilla, pineapple brulee, melon. Flavor has a lot more booze, melon schnapps, big vanilla, almost like Jager vanilla, orange sherbet. Finishes big, boozy but also prickly on the tongue.

16oz can shared with my Dad-canned 9/9-Uh Oh IP trade with johnnnniee-big overly aggressive foamy offwhite head, cloudy gold. A-an infection/possibly bretty, citrus, lt/med malt. T-follows. Previous raters from this batch enjoyed, I will look for a fresher batch next time north hopefully and update.

Taster pour on tap at NH Brewfest. Appearance is deeply hazy light brown-dark yellow with trace sparkle, finger-width bright white foamy head with good retention. Aroma is bubblegum, sweet fruits. Taste is bubblegum--not as much as a Belgian ale--along with fruity sweetness, malt backbone. A little bit weird for a double IPA. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, interesting bubblegum quality for the style, likely from the wheat, but can't totally decide if I like it for its class-bending quality or if it's just missing the mark for its style. Hmmmm.

Chalumeaux with the can share. Dude, much thanks. Aroma is grassy, citrus and slightly floral. Peach and apricot. Dry texture. Light carbonation. Easy citrus, soft pine. Decent.
