Can at home in Hackney - sourced from NH. Pours lightly hazed dull gold with a foamy, white head. Medium sweet flavour with a nice throwback style to it, some sturdy malts, mellow gooey pine, semi-ripe citrus fruits, tangerine, licks of grass and rind. Medium to full bodied, lightly chewy, with average carbonation. Subtly resinous in the finish, more good malt backbone, tasty and restrained pine, almost juicy citrus. The more I drink it, the more I like it.

Taster pour on tap at Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival. Appearance is opaque yellow with decent sparkle at the edges of the glass 1/2-finger width white foamy head with good retention and nice leggy lacing. Aroma is citrusy/fruity balanced by milder bitter pine resin and hint of herb. Taste is moderate fruit (along the melon-grape-pear lines) citrus--not a juice bomb. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with fairly thick granular texture soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall not the most identifiable flavor but decent enough 3.7.

Aroma shows me slight pine and weak citrus. Flavor has a somewhat sweet bread malt backbone. Hops are standard citrus and pine. Nothing off or wrong with it. Just extremely plain in today’s craft market.

Can from Bert's Slightly hazy light golden color with a rich frothy white head that persists. Lemony citrus and light pine on the nose. Bready toasty malt flavor, citrus hop flavor. Decent beer but not horribly exciting.
