From a 12 oz can. Pours a murky brown with an explosive tan head. Aromas are woody with some coffee. Flavors are bitter roast.

Seven roasted grains? I was expecting much more. I am looking for a redeeming quality over the watery texture. I am still looking.

Draft. A- Roasty, dry, cocoa. A- Black color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Roasty, bakers chocolate, subtle bitterness, dry, mild earthy coffee. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- A pretty standard porter by all means. It doesn’t try to show off with any special ingredients. A fair bit of roasted cocoa to it. Don’t get much in terms of coffee other than a slightly earthy bitterness nor do I get any fruity notes as suggested. All in all, a decent porter.
