Reviewed from notes.
On tap at McGillicuddy's, Williston, VT.
Poured into a tulip.
Appearance: burnt orange haziness with a bar pour's kind of slim white foamy head which trickled off fairly quick and barely left any lace
Aroma: melon, grassy, pineapple, mango and light white grape hoppy tones; clean malts
Flavor: mixes on up the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet quality; finishes pineapple-y with mangoes and white grapes
Texture: medium bodied, leaning to be a sipper; pretty smooth along the tongue, low carb & low hop bitterness
Overall: pretty good NEIPA worthy of partaking in again.

Dedicated to Ophelia Zeitz, who I am sure is Smiling High. Pint can from Wine Warehouse, 4/19/21. Hazy vibrant orange, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of orange, melon, tangerine, pale malt. Taste is pineapple, mango, melon, tangerine, pale malt. A vanilla-like note. If you told me there was lactose here I'd believe it. Nice.

Pours murky mango into a tulip. Bright white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sweet lychee aromas. Sweet with lychee, melon and guava front to back.

16oz can pours a pulpy orange with some creamy white head. Nose has melon, guava, mango lassi, a little paper. Flavors of pineapple and mango, melon, some vanilla. Full, pillowy finish. Exactly what you want.

Pint can, WW. Murky orange with a soft off-white/yellowish head. Juicy orange, green hops, tropical fruit, grasses in the nose. Juicy tropical fruit, orange peel and juice, green leaf. Juicy cocktail is what this tastes like with some hops. Pretty tasty.

Can from the brewery Hazy deep yellow with a decent bubbly white head. Aromas of earthy grassy tropical fruit with hints of pine against a sweet bready background. Decent IPA

4 oz. sample at the source. All IPA’s have the same appearance in 2018. Aroma is floral, tropical, white grape hints. Flavor shows white grape, grassy, grapefruit. Pretty mild bitterness bit here for sure. I love Nelson.
