Hef. Sorta dullish murky look to it. Thin head. Sweet banana candy aroma and similar palate. A but sticky. Wheaty. Light phenol. Ok - this hits the notes pretty well on paper but in practice it's too far in the banana-sticky zone for me. The radar chart of the hefeweizen characteristics is technically fine but also not aligned well with my taste.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has earthy wheat and light clove with some banana bread backing.

5 oz draft at the brewery. Cloudy orange with a white head that persists. Nice balance of banana, clove, and bubble gum on the nose. Flavor is spot on the Herman yeast strain. Body is proper. Very nice example.

On tap at Pueblo Vida, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of clove and touch of banana. Flavour is along the same lines, with clove and a touch of banana. Fruity and estery, with a clove-y finish. Nothing special but reasonably made.
