Golden colour with lasting head. Aroma has background of smoked meat. Boiled cabbage. Not good.

4 3 4 3 8Draft at Festivale der Bierkulturen, Cologne.Fairly hazy dark golden with a white head. Aroma of peas, smoke, light fruits and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled @Festival der Bierkulturen K�ln 2018. A almost clear deep golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of sweet grainy malt, cereals. Taste of sweet grainy malt, cereals, mild bitterness.

Musty aroma with mint and grain. Flavour has mint, grain and bush leaves. Both flavour and aroma carry an odd and somewhat unpleasant savour I am unable to describe. Phenol? Anyway, not my thing.

1000ml bottle, thanks Timo A. Pours orange with a small white head. Aroma of minty herbal hops, grass, hints of smoke, malts, grainy notes and earthiness. Taste is smooth, slightly smoky and grainy malty with some earthiness, leather, minty grassy hops, herbal notes and hints of spices. Finish is hoppy and slightly sweetish with hints of mint, grass and grainy maltiness, very mild smoky notes. Quite untypical märzen, but works surprisingly well.
