Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 13/11/24. Chestnut brown topped with a beige cap that dissipates into a spiders web swirl. Nose is dusty fruit esters, toffee, dark malts, biscuit, herb, hedgerow. Taste comprises brown bread, toffee, malt loaf, dried fruit rinds, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Not bad if no wow.

Bottle. Color: Clear amber, off-white head. Aroma: Caramel malt. Taste: Caramel, malty, hints of burnt sugar and nuts. Floral hop backbone. Some grapefruit zest. Medium body, bellw average carbonation. Bit creamy mouthfeel. Ok Amber Ale.

26/6/2024. Bottle from Londis near Y Bryn a'r Bragdy, Brynhoffnant. Pours clear copper amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is caramel, biscuit, malt, citrus, twiggy, hedgerow. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Average carbonation. Dry biscuit finish. Quite decent.

Bottle at work. A clear dark amber coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is subdued, some sticky grassy hop, biscuit malts,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, toast, bready malts, grassy, light metallic. Palate is semi sweet, medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Decent.

[ As Mantle Dis-Mantle ].Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, caramel, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, fruity malt, sweet malt, pale malt, caramel.
